New door!

Mum & dad came back this weekend to help with someone more jobs.
Dad and Dave replaced the garage door. We bought it last year, as the one we had was rotten, and I couldn't open or. Lose it, let alone lock it. We also got a new freezer to go in the garage, so I wanted to be able to get at it.
It turns out it was a bit of a job. They had to trim the door frame, then put it in upside down...and other things...
Anyways, here is it!

And Meg's looking after the old one (place your bets on how long it stays there!)

Fence & more!

Mum & dad came down to help get things ready for the baby. They've been so very busy:

Fence & weeding
Old :
New: (yes, more grey)

Splash back: see the scullery stage 2.

Plus, cutting wood, cleaning windows, fixing the shower, putting in 2 dimmer switches, fixing 2 doors so they shut, cleaning cat flaps, cleaning doors, cleaning the oven!

Needless to say we're all tired

 Drawers from eBay;

My cot! Yes, mine!

Here's dad stripping all the paint off the crib:

We put the drawers in to the room to get an idea of layout. I left Dave fiddling with the temperature gauge

Dave started widening the drive because he bought a new car, which didn't fit the current one.

Our bedroom

This was our bedroom when we bought the house.

This year, we finally bought a bed! Our very first own bed (our last bed came with the last house.
When we moved in, they hadn't painted behind the cupboards, so there was a colour line on show, as our cupboards are smaller.
