Kitchen

I thought it would be a really good idea to freshen up the kitchen in the evenings after Racgels gone to bed. It took 2 months!
I wanted to use left over paint & do it as cheap as possible. I borrowed the blue from sian, but then I had to buy kitchen paint. We also replaced the lights (which are now so bright they could contact the ISS!). I also ha to strip the paint off the bathroom door and frame, as it was so thick the door didn't close, the handle had also been painted over, as was the lock, so this didn't work either. Stripping the paint off was the most difficult bit!

The conservatory

When we moved in the conservatory looked like this:

Which was ok until we had the wettest winter ever and had damp come through. We eventaully decided to get it rendered:

The Garden

IDdWe have big plans for the garden that will take years to achieve, but we're finally making a start (April 2014)
Before the work:

Starting to take down the old chicken coop aka the first wood store area:

This weekend (May 8th-10th 2015) mum and dad came down to help.
Here's what Dave and dad did:

This is the hole made by the digging:

They also did the drive (widened it for 2 cars)

And there's this too (levelling out the lawn and filling boarders. We've also seeded it!)

And there's a mound of soil ready to move to the gravel area when we do that

Rachel helped with seeding

And meg hid:

And mum and I baked for Rachel:

Update - September 2015.

We've made lots of progress in the garden, getting our new shed, removing the gravel patch...amongst other things
